Up for sale, a Moog Moogerfooger MF-102 Ring Modulator in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original box, paperwork, and power adapter. This discontinued, much-lauded all-analog ring mod was designed by Bob Moog and his engineering team in the late ‘90s and is a direct descendant of the original Moog modular synthesizers, delivering the same analog functionality and versatility as those iconic units. This particular MF-102 was produced under Bob Moog’s Big Briar brand prior to Moog’s repurchasing of the official Moog branding rights in ‘02.

Designed to work with any sound source, the MF-102 yields a vast array of unique sounds ranging from subtler, organic tremolo textures to full-on chaotic cacophony. The MF-102 contains three complete modular functions: a ring mod, a voltage-controlled carrier oscillator, and a voltage-controlled dual-waveform LFO. All performance parameters are voltage-controllable, enabling the usage of expression pedals, MIDI-to-CV converter, or any source of control voltages. To that end, there is a whole suite of independent CV/expression pedal I/Os, enabling the independent manipulation and control of each parameter while also providing modular interconnective between other similar analog effects. The user-friendly controls separate the LFP and Modulation sections, with a trio of central indicator LEDs for ease of usage.

Cosmetic touches include wood endcaps, blue switches, clean silkscreen graphics, and reflector cap knobs. This is a clean example, with barely a mark on the unit save for mild wear on the baseplate sticker.

The original box is included, along with the user manual/paperwork and power adapter.
