Up for sale, a 2025 Fender Heritage Late ‘60s Jazz Bass Limited in mint condition, complete with hangtags. Sourced brand new directly from Toyko, this Heritage Series model was designed in conjunction with Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Mark Kendrick, using profiling data from Fender USA for vintage-spec body and neck profile carves. This retooled top-tier Fender Japan model stands toe to toe with the American Vintage and Original lines.

Part of a very small (sold out) Limited Edition run, this Heritage Late ‘60s Jazz Bass is a Fender Japan web exclusive, available only to Japan and select international territories. Replicating one of the Jazz Bass' most visually alluring and elusive feature sets, the Heritage 60s model boasts a gloss Black nitro lacquer finish complete with matching peghead, a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlay, and exact reproductions of Fender's "lollipop" tuning machines.

Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard, yielding a notably broad, deep natural acoustic tone. The bridge pickup has the power, burp, and presence that ensures a Jazz Bass cuts through in ensemble situations, and it's easy to dial in the right amount of midrange growl and fundamental thump when balancing the sound between the two single coils. The tone can get quite smooth and wide too, simply by rolling off the bridge pickup Volume and Master Tone control, resulting in a thick sound that doesn't lack definition. This Heritage Late ‘60s bass weighs 8lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with roundwound 45-105 strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
