This Japan-exclusive Hybrid II model features an Auquamarine-finished quilted maple top accented by white pearloid plastics. Premium appointments include a two-point vibrato, locking tuners, USA-spec CTS pots, a satin-finished Modern C-shaped neck profile, a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with a modern 9 1/2“ radius and narrow/tall fretwire.
The Hybrid II Custom Voiced single coil pickups feature staggered, beveled alnico pole pieces, specifically voiced to accentuate the best qualities of each pickup position. The bridge is sparkling and clear, with a touch of extra low end kick, the neck pickup is throaty and full, and the “in-between” positions on the five-way selector switch deliver hollow Strat quack.
