Up for sale, a 2020 Gibson Custom Shop Historic '67 Flying V in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, hangtags, and CoA. This Custom Shop V features a Polaris White gloss nitro lacquer finish, part of a limited run made available exclusively in Japan via Gibson's Japanese distributor Yamano.

A reissue of Gibson's late '60s attempt at resurrecting the Flying V design first pioneered in the previous decade, this '67 Historic V features a pair of Gibson's much lauded Custombucker PAFs. These medium output PAFs feature Alnico III magnet construction, with 42 AWG wire and unbalanced coils, unpotted for maximal liveliness and harmonic density. There's plenty of rich growl and detail on tap, ideal for round-sounding, dynamic cleans and thick, ripping drive. This Flying V is featherweight at 6lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 string, slinky action, and spot-on intonation.

Cosmetic wear on the gloss Polaris White nitro lacquer finish is limited to just a couple exceedingly faint marks in the clear coat on the back. The smooth matching gloss on the neck profile is immaculate, and there is a tiny bit of reddish “case bleed” on the inside edges of the headstock.

The original Gibson Custom-branded black tolex hardshell case with form-fit interior is included, along with the COA and Gibson/Yamano hangtags.
