Up for sale, a 2018 G&L CLF Research Skyhawk in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, CoA and factory documentation. This modern iteration of the Skyhawk platform features a trio of Leo Fender-designed Magnetic Field Design (MFD) pickups, Dual Fulcrum vibrato, Passive Treble Bass (PTB) EQ controls with a two-way Expander mini-toggle, and a gloss Pharaoh Gold Firemist finish.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab Chechen fretboard. The trio of MDF single coil pickups have ample sparkle on tap, with a touch more midrange heft than most designs; the bridge delivers ample spanky snarl and twang, and the neck has a smoother, bell-like quality. The two-way Exander mini-toggle adds additional low end fullness, and the independent Treble and Bass knobs enable a significant degree of tone sculpting.
