Up for sale, a 2001 Kramer Baretta II Pro in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This later rendition of the original Baretta, one of the most ubiquitous and iconic Superstrats of the ‘80s, was produced shortly after Gibson took over ownership of the Kramer brand and features a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers, a genuine Floyd Rose tremolo, and gloss White Crackle finish.
Tonewoods include maple neck-through construction with alder body wings and a slab 24-fret rosewood fretboard, and this Baretta II Pro weighs 8lbs 1oz. The Seymour Duncan pickups comprise the classic pairing of a Jazz neck humbucker with a JB humbucker at the bridge: one of Duncan’s most versatile humbuckers, the Jazz pickup features an Alnico V bar magnet and special coil wind, delivering a glassy treble response and full, tight bass, with scooped mids for optimal clarity even under high gain or high speed. The SH-4 JB bridge pickup is Duncan's original hot-rodded humbucker, producing powerful low end, crisp and detailed highs, and an upper-midrange bump that adds crunch and chunk to heavy chords that translates to a singing, vocal-like quality when playing single notes or solos. This Baretta II Pro has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
