Up for sale, a 1999 Rickenbacker 425V63 in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This rare, limited run Rickenbacker solidbody matches specs for George Harrison’s 425, which he acquired while visiting his sister in Illinois in 1963 and used multiple times on early Beatles recordings and television appearances. Features include a hardtail bridge with compensated aluminum saddle, a centrally located Toaster Top single coil pickup, and gloss custom color Burgundyglo finish.

The maple neck-through construction and maple body wings ensure this guitar has a lively, chiming acoustic response with great natural sustain, providing an ideal platform for the Toaster Top pickup. Truly a no-frills vintage tone machine, this 425 delivers quintessential Ric jangle and sparkle, with exceptional clarity and a sweet, treble-centric percussive cut. This 425V63 is featherweight at 6lbs 3oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
