Up for sale, a 1999 Fender Chris Impellitteri Signature Stratocaster model ST68G-115CI in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This rare “Crafted in Japan” Strat was designed in collaboration with super-shredder Impelliteri, boasting a unique set of features including USA Fender pickups comprising two Noiseless (Neck/Middle) and one Texas Special single coil, a ‘68-spec large headstock with block logo, jumbo fretwire, a single scalloped fret (the 21st), and a gloss Old Candy Apple Red finish accented by gold hardware.

Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, and this Impelitteri Signature ST68G-115CI weighs 7lbs 10oz. Via the five-way pickup selector, the Noiseless single coils in the neck and middle positions yield a sparkling response and hum-free performance, while the Texas Special at the bridge has a slightly overwound design for an extra kick of oomph and snarling twang. This Impelitter Stratocaster ST68-115CI has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, dialed in with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
