Up for sale, a 1993 Fender Custom Edition Stratocaster ‘57 vintage reissue model ST57G-65 in perfect working order. A rare, early Fender Japan Stratocaster produced at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of "Made in Japan" output, this Strat features a transparent Charcoal Green (CCG) gloss finish over the prominent grain of the American basswood body, accented by gold hardware throughout.
This Strat has a balanced, lively natural acoustic quality which is translated faithfully through the trio of alnico magnet single coils. The bridge position has a sparkling, authoritative zing, the middle position single coil has a percussive clarity, and the neck position is throaty and warm while still having a peppy snap in the top end. And of course, there’s hollow quack at positions 2 and 4 on the five-way pickup selector switch. Lightweight at 6lbs 12oz, this Stratocaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Medium C, measuring .850” 1st fret, .980” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Maple, 7 1/4” vintage-spec radius
-Frets: Slender, no wear
-Scale Length: 25 ½”
-Nut: 1.650” (42mm), bone
-Tuners: Kluson-style, Gotoh
-Serialization: “Made in Japan”, N-prefix
-Factory Markings: Model stamps on neck heel/pocket
Body Specs:

The gloss Charcoal Green finish highlights subtle “charcoal” streaking highlighting the grain of the American basswood body. There is an area of buckle rash central to the back, a scratch on top at the bass-side waist, and some dings and scuffs on the body as a whole. The neck retains its smooth ambered gloss with some small marks on the profile length.
A modern Fender gigbag is included.
