Up for sale, a 1992 Grover Jackson Kelly Custom in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This rare Jackson was among the highest-tiered Jackson/Charvel Kelly models crafted by the Chushin Gakki factory in Japan, featuring neck-through construction with a contoured heel, a Schaller tremolo, and a pair of powerful ceramic magnet humbuckers.
Tonewoods include a quartersawn rock maple neck capped by a 24-fret ebony fingerboard and yellow poplar body wings, offering ample sustain and natural resonance with the glassy note attack of maple/ebony. The J90C ceramic magnet high-output humbucker in the bridge position is built to shred, retaining great articulation even with heavy gain, and the J-50BC in the neck position has a big and bold sound, perfect for monster chording and white-hot melodic playing. Weighing 8lbs 12oz, this Kelly Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.

There are two finish chips at the bass-side body point and the tip of the horn (common on Kelly-style bodies), with limited finish touch-up on each. The gloss Metallic Black finish otherwise shows only light pick scuffing, a few small dings on top, and a handful of faint finish scratches in the clear coat on the body as a whole. The gloss finish on the neck profile is flawless.
The original black tolex hardshell case is included.
