Up for sale, a 1989 Fender Stratocaster ‘72 vintage reissue model ST72-75SC in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case and the original hangtag. This uncommon “Made in Japan” Strat was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production, essentially a progenitor of the Yngwie Malmsteen signature model ST72, sharing a graduated scalloped fretboard and '72-centric features including a large headstock, bullet truss rod, three-bolt F neck plate, and block bridge saddles.

The guitar has been outfitted with a trio of Fender USA-made 57/62 single coil pickups, featuring black fiber bobbins, cloth covered leads, and staggered, unbeveled pole pieces. These pickups deliver a bevy of classic Strat tonalities, with twang at the bridge, smooth chop at the neck, and honk and chirp at the “in-between” positions on the five-way pickup selector switch. This Stratocaster ST72-75SC weighs 7lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
