Up for sale, a 1988 DOD FX50-B Overdrive in perfect working order. This early FX50-B offers tons of dirt and crunch, opening up into an absolute howling beast when cranked, with the Drive functioning as a Boost when pushed all the way up (sweeping from 9-10 on the dial).
While a USA-made pedal, this version is unique, as it lacks the “Plus” text. While featuring an identical circuit as the “Plus,” this version was offered to international markets in small quantities.
There are a number of minor chips and scuffs along the edges of the enclosure, with clean graphics and the original trio of knobs present. The serial on the silver foil “Made in the USA” label dates to 1988.
