Up for sale, a 1979 Kramer DMZ 4000 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Produced in the third year of Kramer production, this bass features Kramer’s aluminum neck construction, based on Gary Kramer’s early design with Travis Bean, engineered for optimal sustain and stability.

The body is composed of maple and walnut (nine-ply with maple wings), loaded with a DiMarzio P Bass split-coil pickup. This pickup is big and bold, with tons of low end thickness and smooth treble articulation, and there’s a surprisingly wide array of tonalities achievable via the three-way Tone selector switch. Additionally, the active two-way Boost toggle enables an extra hit of power and potent rumble. This DMZ 4000 weighs 10lbs 2oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
