Up for sale, a 1967 Fender Super Reverb in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with two-button footswitch. The amp pushes 40 watts of pure Fender Black Panel clean tone via a pair of Tung Sol small bottle 5881 (6L6GC) power tubes. Perfect for gigging situations and an ideal recording amplifier, the amp provides pristine, muscly Fender cleans until the 4-5 range on the volume dial, where a bit of tube and speaker breakup sends the amp into smooth overdrive. The tube-driven spring Reverb adds plenty of splash and sparkle, and the Tremolo has a strong pulse and wide range of available speeds.

All of the original transformers are intact, manufactured by Schumacher (Fender's primary transformer supplier in the Black Panel era), dating between late 1965 and '66. The preamp features the majority of the original blue Ajax molded capacitors, a central element of the sweet, musical character of Fender's Black Panel-era circuits. All but two of the original CTS pots are intact, with visible date codes from the 17th week of '66. The power cable has been upgraded to a modern three-prong, and the power supply has been professionally recapped with high quality F&Ts. The preamp also features new smaller Sprague electrolytic caps, ensuring optimal reliability and performance.

The original quartet of CTS-made speakers is present, with matching dates on the alnico magnets from the 50th week of '66 and additional Fender factory stamps on the edges of the frames (also from '66). The tube chart is present inside the cabinet, with a "QC" date stamp that translates to March of 1967.

The original smooth black tolex is intact and quite well kept, along with the original silver sparkle grillcloth. Original hardware includes the nickel corners, sphinx glides (feet), tilt-back legs, chassis straps, and raised "Fender" logo.

A non-original two-button footswitch is included.
