Up for sale, an Xotic Effects RC Booster V2 in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. Designed in California, this second iteration of Xotic’s RC Booster platform offers a super transparent 20dB+ clean boost and a +/-15dB 2 band active EQ, resulting in a super fat boost that never compromises the integrity of the original tone. V2 also introduces a secondary Gain channel, engaged with a secondary footswitch. An excellent solution to the problem of signal loss through cables and other pedals, the RC Booster offers True Bypass switching but is a well-qualified “always on” pedal for those looking to broaden their sound without altering the underlying tone. However, the V2’s added Gain functionality means that big, creamy breakup is also on tap. Controls include Treble, Bass, Volume, Gain 1, and Gain 2. The Gain 2 mini-knob allows for a significant amount of sculpting of the Gain tone, from just a bit of hair to full-on vintage crunch. There are two footswitches, Gain 1+2 and Bypass, which have independent LEDs for easy on-stage visibility. The RC Booster can also be run at 18V for even more headroom. This unit is in fantastic shape, with barely a mark on the enclosure, original knobs, and clean graphics.
