Up for sale, a 2019 Vintage 47 The Mini Class A combo amplifier in mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hangtags and canvas slip cover. Vintage 47 is the brainchild of master amp builder David Barnes, known for his well-crafted Chicago-style Valco reproductions. This Mini packs classic Valco tone into an exceptionally compact, portable unit, perfect for recording scenarios.Few amps can compete with a Valco-style circuit when it comes to sweet, saturated tube sounds, and this Class A combo is notably dynamic and articulate, delivering the vintage-style goods with a focused, rich midrange. The simple controls include Master Tone and Volume knobs, with a Boost switch for extra kick, and two inputs, one of which is slightly hotter. The tube complement includes a JJ 6V6 power tube, JJ 6SL7 preamp tube, and JJ 5Y3S rectifier. The hand-wired, point-to-point circuit has 4 and 8 ohm outputs, voiced through a proprietary 6x9 oval alnico magnet speaker.The finger-jointed Baltic birch cabinet features deep blue tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth, and a leather handle. The control plate has chicken head knobs and pristine graphics.The original hangtag is present, and the canvas slip cover is included.
