This highly faithful modern version of the Colorsound Power Boost (a critical component in the signal chain of players including David Gilmour and Jeff Beck) features 3 TO-18 “metal can” silicon transistors, each with its own internal bias trim pot for optimal tonal tweaking. The Overdrive Boost is also switchable to a Germanium transistor and Germanium diode pair wiring configuration, delivering plenty of Stooges-esque fuzz when engaged. Other features include: an externally switchable Pre-Gain control with an internal pot to aid in dialing that perfect, chewy pre-gain; Gain, Bass, Treble, and Master Volume adjustment knobs; and a true bypass footswitch. The Overdrive Boost is also notably versatile, and can act as a pristine, balanced clean boost just as easily as a fat, creamy overdrive.
