Up for sale, a T-style Custom partscaster in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with a tweed hardshell case. Tonewoods include an Allparts TRO-V Fender-licensed maple neck with a substantial V-shaped profile carve and slab rosewood fretboard, paired with an XGP Premium Double Bound TE body, finished in gloss Ocean Turquoise Metallic.

The guitar delivers a round, authoritative sound with excellent note attack, qualities which translate faithfully by the pickup complement, a pair of Vintage Inspired Pickups-branded TELEX Vintage pickups which produce plenty of Tele snap and twang. The neck pickup is wound with 60-year-old NOS 43 AMG wire in the spirit of a Blackguard Tele, producing plenty of warmth and bell-like cut. The bridge pickup is aggressive and punchy, featuring cryo-treated Alnico III and V magnets, paired in order to cancel out unwanted frequencies and enhance natural, desirable sonic qualities. Weighing 7lbs 7oz, this guitar has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and spot-on intonation.

The maple neck has a very substantial V-shaped profile carve at the nut, transitioning to a more U-like shape in the higher registers with ample shoulder, measuring .925” deep at the 1st fret and .970” at the 12th. The thick slab rosewood fretboard is a dark cut of this tonewood, featuring flawless vintage-spec slender fretwire which has its full factory height and well-rounded crowns. This guitar plays cleanly up the 25 1/2” scale with a straight neck and responsive, well-adjusted truss rod. The nut measures 1 5/8” in width. On the headstock, the Kluson-style tuners turn smoothly and hold accurate, stable pitch.

All the electronics work as intended, with the pickup pair wired to a premium Emerson Pro harness with a three-way pickup selector and Master Volume and Tone controls. Chrome-plated hardware includes the string-through body bridge with its trio of brass saddles, along with the control plate and pair of domed knurled knobs. The three-ply white pickguard rounds out the plastics.

The body is finished in what XGP purports to be Sherwood Green, while more accurately this finish has notable blue overtones, much closer in presentation to Fender’s classic custom color Ocean Turquoise Metallic. Exceedingly well-kept, there’s barely a scratch on the body, with one tiny repaired finish chip on the treble-side edge of the neck pocket. The ambered gloss nitro lacquer finish on the neck profile is immaculate.

A tweed hardshell case is included.
