Up for sale, a Suhr Badger 35 head and matching 1x12 speaker cabinet in showroom-clean condition, complete with a pair of Suhr-branded slip covers. This hand-built, all-tube design combines classic British tones with modern power-scaling technology, delivering a myriad of sonic options with exquisite tube saturation and touch-sensitive responsiveness at any volume level.

A single channel cathode biased design, the Badger 35 features a quad of EL84 power tubes, with two cascading gain stages simultaneously driving the input stage and governed by the "Gain" knob. Bass, Middle and Treble controls are post-gain and passive cut-style (Suhr recommends starting around 5 and dialing to taste).

The newly designed preamp section includes a high-voltage cascaded MOSFET Boost (footswitchable) to offer a broader range of cleaner and overdriven tones with increased dynamic range, transparency and tactile responsiveness.

Suhr's Power Scaling emulates the tonal response of a high wattage amp at manageable volumes. The "Power" knob controls the voltage that feeds the output section and in turn, the wattage. Lowering the voltage of the power section reduces the amount of signal the amp can handle before clipping the output section. To compensate, the Badger's “Drive” control allows the player to scale down to 1 watt without losing tone & feel.

The speaker cabinet is a closed back, front ported design, loaded with the factory Warehouse Veteran 30 ceramic magnet 12" driver, a 60 watt speaker well-suited to the sonic characteristics of the Badger head.

There's barely a mark on the head and cabinet which feature textured black tolex, a black anodized aluminium control panel complete with chicken head knobs, and solid aluminium bead blasted script Suhr logos on both the head and the black/silver speaker cabinet grill.

The original Suhr-branded soft covers are included, along with the preamp MOSFET boost footswitch.
