Up for sale, a Subdecay Spring Theory Reverberator effects pedal in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original box. For their first foray into DSP, Subdecay put their white lab coats on, listened to a lot of reverb, and then listened some more. They tore apart reverb tanks to see what makes them unique, and created something truly special.
Handmade in Oregon, the Spring Theory is designed specifically for guitar, with a sound and response similar to a real tube driven blackface-era reverb unit. It reacts dynamically to the attack of every note you play, enabling the virtual springs to chirp and resonate. In addition to the exceptional Spring Reverb emulation, a Room Reverb is also provided. The Room setting simulates anything from a small space to a 10 mile-wide cavern covered with ceramic tile.
The Reverb knob sets the effect volume, and the Depth knob controls the reverb length. Set the Depth knob near the middle for controllably lush sounds, and turn it to the right for far out, everlasting decay. The Room setting especially excels at creating synth-like pad sounds and thick, rich sonic landscapes.
Cosmetic wear is limited to light scuffs on the enclosure. The white screen printed graphics are well preserved, the original white knobs are intact, and the foil sticker and rubber feet are still present on the bottom. The original box is included.
