Out Of Stock
Up for sale a Squier by Fender Stratocaster partscaster in excellent condition and in perfect working order, finished in Olympic White and replicating a '60s-centric feature set. The Squier-branded maple neck with a small Pre-CBS-style headstock boasts a thick slab rosewood fretboard, and the Olympic White-finished body is loaded with Fender Pure Vintage ‘65 pickups. The same USA-made Pure Vintage ‘65 pickups used in Fender's American Vintage series of instruments,  these single coils deliver plenty of chime, sparkle, and quack via the five-way pickup selector switch. The guitar weighs 8lbs 3oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, accurate intonation, and low action.

The maple neck has a medium C-shaped profile with lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .845” deep at the 1st fret and .865” at the 12th. The thick slab rosewood fretboard features dot inlay, a 7 1/4" vintage-spec Fender radius, and flawless slender frewire. The guitar plays easily in every register, the neck is straight, and the truss rod is responsive and ideally adjusted. The scale length is 25 1/2”, and the nut measures 1 5/8“ in width. The headstock features an upgraded set of Kluson-style tuners that turn smoothly and hold pitch well. The neck has an MN8-prefix serial noting Ensenada, Mexico manufacture and a 1998 build date (the body is later and dates to 2002).

All of the electronics function flawlessly, with the Pure Vintage ‘65 grey bobbin pickups wired to USA-made full-size CTS pots and a five-way pickup selector switch. Hardware includes a chrome-plated Wilkinson vibrato, and this vintage-style Strat vibrato responding quickly and reliably for quick shimmies and deeper dives. The upgraded cream plastic parts and mint three-ply pickguard compliment the gloss Olympic White finish, and cosmetic wear is limited to a bit of light pick scuffing on the treble side of the strum path and a few light finish scratches on the lower bout of the body. The smooth gloss finish on the neck profile is pristine.

A Fender gigbag is included.
