Up for sale, a Ronciswall Miasma 6 custom in showroom clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Handcrafted in Italy, Ronciswall guitars are custom-built with exceptional craftsmanship and a bevy of top-tier tonewoods and componentry. This particular Miasma 6 features a black limba body topped with a poplar burl cap, a one-piece wenge neck with a pale moon ebony fretboard, and a full suite of Hipshot hardware including tuners, bridge, and singular knob.Acoustically, this guitar is warm and resonant, with plenty of clarity and the glassy articulation inherent to the pale moon ebony fretboard. Plugged in, the Ronciswall Marso humbuckers are exceedingly versatile, delivering a wide range of tonalities. They’re full and bold-sounding, with ample midrange presence and sweet, singing highs. Additionally, the five-way pickup selector switch enables plenty of tonal flexibility, from throaty humbucker sounds in the neck position to coil-tapped settings with single coil snap and sparkle. Featherweight at just 6lbs 8oz, this Miasma 6 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation. The one-piece wenge neck has a slender D-shaped profile carve with generous, inviting shoulders, measuring .765” deep at the 1st fret and .770” at the 12th. The 24-fret pale moon ebony fretboard has a 16” radius and features moon phase inlay, with glow-in-the-dark position dots on the bass side. The slender Ferd Wagner fretwire is flawless, playing cleanly up the 26” scale with a straight neck and a responsive, optimally-adjusted truss rod. The black Tusq nut measures just a hair shy of 1 5/8“ in width. On the reverse headstock, the Hipshot Grip Lock locking tuners turn smoothly and hold exceptional pitch. All of the electronics function as intended, with the pair of Marso humbuckers governed by a five-way position selector switch and a Master Volume control. Black hardware includes the Hipshot bridge and Hipshot O Ring knob, which has a ridged grip for easy on-the-fly swells and adjustments. The pickup covers are carved from pale moon ebony to match the fretboard, and the control cavity cover is made of wenge to match the neck. The thinly-applied satin finish exposes the pores and textures in the wood (particularly on the poplar burl top). This is an exceedingly well-kept example, with scarcely a scratch on the body. The satin finish on the neck profile is similarly pristine, delivering a lightning fast feel in the palm.A gigbag is included.
