Up for sale, a Roger Mayer Voodoo-1 in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This rare and early rendition of this drive pedal was hand-built in the U.K., designed as a versatile compliment to a wide range of amplifiers.
Controls include Drive, a Fatness knob for tone shaping, and a master Output control for a simple yet effective range of parameters. The Drive can be adjusted to introduce pleasant and dynamic harmonic distortion, and when used in conjunction with the output control, unleashes a broad range of nuanced distortion flavors from mild crunch to absolute overdriven insanity. The Fatness knob has a fairly broad range as well, and with a full turn of the knob one can drift from tweed twang all the way to classic British snarl.
The direct dual drive buffered outputs make parallel or multi path processing easy without having to incorporate an additional splitter. And extensive internal filtering ensures that low-noise operation is maintained even with the most basic of 9v adapters (not included).
