Up for sale, a Roger Mayer Voodoo-1 Distortion and Active Splitter in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This early and sought-after rendition of this pedal offers a particularly tube-like distortion, smooth and dynamic with compression characteristics usually only associated with vintage classic tube amplifiers. The pedal also cleans up well with a guitar's volume control.
Controls include Gain, Tone, and a master Output control for a simple yet effective range of parameters. The Gain can be adjusted to introduce pleasant and dynamic harmonic distortion, and when used in conjunction with the output control, unleashes a broad range of nuanced distortion flavors from mild crunch to absolute overdriven insanity. The Tone knob has a fairly broad range as well, and with a full turn of the knob one can drift from tweed twang all the way to classic British snarl.
The direct dual drive buffered outputs make parallel or multi path processing easy without having to incorporate an additional splitter. And extensive internal filtering ensures that low-noise operation is maintained even with the most basic of 9v adapters (not included).
