Riggio Custom Guitars Jet Offset Guitar, Sherwood Green w/ Mastery M1 & OMV-P, G&G Case

Up for sale, a brand new Riggio Custom Guitars Jet, complete with a G&G Deluxe blonde hardshell case. In a class all his own, Joe Riggio creates some of the most compelling, soulful, and truly inspiring guitars made in this decade or any other. Riggio's Jet is a fastidiously hand-crafted instrument from his one-man shop, with production limited to only a few dozen instruments a year.

With hand-selected lightweight tonewoods, proprietary neck carves (mapped on a CNC from actual vintage examples), Mastery hardware, and vintage-accurate plastics, this Jet features a Sherwood Green gloss nitro lacquer finish over an alder body, paired with a maple neck and thick slab Madagascar rosewood fretboard.

Riggio's Mr Jazz pickup pair is hand-wound and faithful to vintage black bobbin Jazzmaster spec at a robust 8.5k ohms in the bridge position and 7.9k at the neck. These pickups have a woody, percussive cut, plenty of treble detail, and a clear warm bass register, wired to 1Meg pots and a traditional Jazzmaster control array. This Jet weights 7lbs 15oz, dialed in with low action, accurate intonation, and 11-50 strings.

The maple neck has a chunky C-shaped profile carve with plenty of substance, full shoulders, and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .870" deep at the 1st fret and .965" at the 12th. A hallmark of Riggio’s instruments is the “Real Deal Feel” on the neck. This involves a smooth gradient between high gloss nitro and almost bare maple on the profile, simulating to an exacting degree the way in which contact with the palm naturally ages a finish over decades. This combined with a rolled fretboard edge and extra attention to the end dress on the frets results in a particularly inviting and effortless playing experience. The Madagascar rosewood slab fretboard is a dark cut of this tonewood, featuring aged clay dot inlay and 6105 fretwire. This Jet boasts a modern 9.5" fretboard radius, 25 1/2" scale length, and 1.650" nut width. The nut is hand-carved from bone for optimal note articulation and sustain. The headstock features Riggio's script logo waterslide decal and Kluson-style tuning machines.

Electronics include Riggio's Mr Jazz pickup pair, wired to 1Meg CTS pots and a traditional Jazzmaster control array. Hardware comprises a Mastery M1 bridge and OMV-P vibrato tailpiece, ensuring optimal resonance, articulation, and a particularly smooth vibrato response. The multi-ply mint green pickguard has a wide edge bevel, accenting the pure nitro lacquer Sherwood Green gloss finish which boasts Riggio's light relic treatment.

A Riggio-branded G&G Deluxe blonde tolex hardshell case with purple crushed velvet interior is included.
