Up for sale, a 2011 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Goldtop in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and factory paperwork. Weighing a particularly robust 10lbs 12oz, this Traditional has a powerful and punchy natural acoustic tone with a solid mahogany body and thick carved maple cap for the perfect blend of warmth and clarity. The Burstbucker 1 and 2 PAF humbuckers deliver an array of (dare we say it) traditional Les Paul tonalities, with a sweet, dynamic and harmonically-rich bridge pickup, and a neck position humbucker that's fat and sweet while still retaining ideal clarity. Both pickups also feature individual push/pull coil taps on the Volume knobs for glassy single coil sounds. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, we've dialed in this Les Paul with 10-52 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The one-piece mahogany neck has a '50s-style profile carve with ample shoulder and ideal heft, measuring .850" deep at the 1st fret and .999" at the 12th. The bound rosewood fretboard is a dark, tight-grained cut of this particular tonewood, and the original slender and tall vintage-style frets have their full height and lots of meat, showing sparingly little wear. The guitar conforms to typical Les Paul specs with a  24 3/4" scale length and 1 11/16" wide nut. The headstock is fitted with Kluson Deluxe bolt bushing tuners with lightly greened tulip buttons. There's also a tiny bit of lacquer chipping adjacent to the tuner bushings.

All of the electronics function as intended, with a control array including dedicated Volume and Tone knobs for each pickup, and individual push/pull coil taps on the Volume knobs for the Burstbucker PAFs. The guitar boasts gleaming nickel plating on the pickup covers, Nashville bridge, and stopbar, while the plastic parts include cream pickup rings and pickguard, and a quartet of amber bonnet knobs. Cosmetic wear is limited to a few small cosmetic splits on the bonnet knobs, some small nicks on the back lower bout body edge, and a few stray finish scratches and minor marks across the back. The top is exceedingly clean, and the gloss nitro on the back highlights light flame figuring in the mahogany. The neck profile is flawless.

The original black tolex Gibson USA hardshell case and factory paperwork is included.
