Up for sale, a 1982 Boss DM-2 Delay in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This particular DM-2 is an early example, with a serial number that shows a June, 1982 production date. This pioneering, all analog delay offers a lush, warm tone thanks to the famous MN3205 "Bucket Brigade" delay chip. This chip produces a thick, rich quality, and the delay time is variable between 20ms and 300ms, with a control layout that is intuitive and easy to use.
Cosmetic wear is limited to light chips around the edges of the enclosure. The original black "Made in Japan" foil label is no longer present, though the serial number sticker inside the battery compartment dates the production to June, 1982. The silkscreen graphics are bold, and all three original knobs are intact.
For classic, warm analog delay in a compact pedal package, the Boss DM-2 is one of the best sounding and easiest to use delays ever conceived.
