Up for sale, a 2008 Ibanez Prestige model RG2550Z in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. No longer distributed to the US, this is a rare upscale Japanese-made Ibanez Prestige with a gloss sparkle Galaxy Black finish, trio of special design Dimarzio IBZ pickups, and an Edge-Zero tremolo system. A triple pickup HSH affair, the humbucker sounds are pure high gain bliss, designed to keep things cutting, focused, and clear with excellent feedback rejection. The guitar weighs 7lbs 11oz and has been professionally setup with slinky action and spot-on intonation.

The maple and walnut five-piece neck has Ibanez's revered Wizard shape, which is notably slender and fast-feeling, measuring .730” deep at the 1st fret and .805”  at the 12th. The thick slab maple fretboard features black dot inlay and stock jumbo fretwire. The frets have their full factory height and well-rounded crowns, with light wear beneath the plain strings on frets 1-2, extending further up the board beneath the B string. The guitar plays effortlessly up the arrow straight neck which has a 24 fret range and a responsive truss rod. The guitar boasts a full 25 1/2" scale length and 1 11/16" nut width. The headstock has original black Gotoh tuners and a locking nut that ensures optimal tuning stability even with heavy vibrato use. On the back of the headstock, the Allen wrench holder is present, along with the Team J Craft logo and serial number.

The body has a simple and sleek control layout, with a five-way pickup selector switch and Master Volume and Tone knobs. The Edge-Zero bridge with ZPS3 Zero Point System was designed by Ibanez to give you the fast vibrato response and snap you need to pull off sharp bends and flutters. The extreme stability of this knife-edge-style trem's stud lock function is also one of the many reasons it's a favorite among many of today's top players. The black hardware shows only light patina on the tuners and tremolo intonation dials, and cosmetic wear includes light pick scuffing on the mirror guard, some scattered chips in the gloss Galaxy Black finish on the body parameter, and just a few nicks and finish scratches on the body as a whole. There is also a notable ding at the rear treble side lower bout edge. Barring a couple minuscule marks on the profile, the neck has a pristine smooth satin finish.

The original hardshell case is included.
