Up for sale, a 1980s Pearl Compressor model CO-04 in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This vintage Japanese-made stompbox is a particularly effective compressor, with the desirable CA3080 Op-Amp at its heart, the same chip used in Ross' compressor and MXR's Dynacomp.
The buffered signal has a nice low noise floor, with a Tone control that offers a broad sweep and an Attack knob that delivers everything from a nice snappy tic-tac sound to soft mush. The pedal is extremely clean cosmetically, with the original quartet of knobs intact and the original black foil label on the back.
