Up for sale, a Providence Stampede Overdrive SOV-1 vintage overdrive pedal in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Crafted in Japan, this OD delivers thick, Dumble-style overdrive; natural-sounding and absolutely massive, perfect for chunky rhythms and singing, searing leads with exceptional sustain. It’s a highly versatile pedal, and adjusting the Tone knob can take the sound from big and bold to throaty and squelchy. The inclusion of a secondary Boost circuit means this unit also functions well as a bright, sparkling boost. Simple user-friendly controls include Output, Boost, Tone, and Gain knobs, with a two-way Boost/Normal Treble boost switch. This unit is in great shape, built like a tank with clean graphics and just a few microscopic nicks on the edge of the red enclosure. The quartet of aluminum skirted knobs are replacements.
