Up for sale, a Paul Cochrane Timmy V2 overdrive pedal in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original box and user manual. A scaled down version of Paul Cochrane’s iconic Tim overdrive, this pedalboard-friendly iteration delivers the same open, transparent overdrive and wide range of EQ sculpting that made the circuit so beloved.

Tonally, it’s firmly in the Tube Screamer camp, but without the midrange hump of that particular pedal, and with less compression, ensuring that the Timmy is truly transparent. It works exceptionally well as a flat/clean boost, and can easily be dialed up for grit and creamy drive. Controls include Volume, Treble, Bass, and Gain knobs, with a three-way clipping selector switch. The Bass and Treble EQ knobs are “cut” style inverted controls, with broad sweeps; the Bass control is pre distortion, enabling the user to more easily keep the low end for cleaner sounds and dial it out for crunchier tones, and the Treble is post distortion to ensure optimal top end clarity without any unwanted fizziness or abrasive noise. The three-way Clipping toggle provides further tonal flexibility; the Middle and Down positions are symmetrical clipping, while Up is an asymmetrical setting.

This pedal is in fantastic shape: the rugged gold sparkle enclosure is very clean, with just a few faint marks on the baseplate, the original knobs are all present, and the graphics are pristine.
