A faithful recreation of the Boss CE-1 Chorus’ preamp, this pedal packs Boss’ preamp circuitry into its own compact, stand-alone unit, and features the same Level Control knob and High/Low input sensitivity toggle found on the original effect. Unique to this pedal is its incorporated buffer circuit: where CE-1 users had once found that setting the input sensitivity to High caused certain desired high frequencies to become lost in the mix, the Preamp Crunch restores said desired frequencies via the Buffer/Off switch.
