This collaboration between MXR and legendary rig designer Bob Bradshaw takes the same analog circuit that Bradshaw has been using on high-end boards since the 1980s and presents it in a compact, affordable and pedalboard-friendly package. The MC-401 is simple in design but highly effective in solving a variety of line level and signal conditioning problems that can occur when combining effects, ensuring that no sparkle, punch, or brilliance is lost. There’s just one knob; Boost, which ranges from 0dB to +20dB. The MC-401 stays ultra clean when boosting, perfect for solos or to drive effects for more dynamics and sensitivity. This particular pedal is in fantastic shape, with scarcely a mark on the housing, the original knob, and clean graphics. The original box is included, along with the manual.
