Up for sale, a Mesa Boogie Express 5:50 1x12 tube combo amplifier in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a slip cover and three-button footswitch. First released in 2007, this since-discontinued Mesa Boogie combo delivers a vast array of tonalities from sparkling, muscly cleans to churning over-the-top drive.Driven by a pair of 6L6 power tubes, the Express 5:50 offers two separate channels, each with two modes and independent EQ. Channel 1 delivers Clean and Crunch modes, while Channel 2 has Blues and Burn settings. Each channel has dedicated footswitchable Contour knobs, and the tube-driven spring Reverb can be engaged via the footswitch too. Other features include Mesa Boogie’s proprietary Duo-Class power switching circuit, which allows the player to select between Class A/B operationat 50W and Class A at just 5W.The speaker is the original Celestion-made MC-90 Black Shadow 12” driver.
