Up for sale, a Marshall The Guv’nor Mk1 in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. Produced between 1988-91, this Guv’nor was made during the second half of Mk1 production. While this iteration was made in Korea, it shares the same enclosure, circuit, and sonics as the UK-made version. The Guv’nor was Marshall’s first foray into pedal building and is an enduring favorite, with op-amp clipping for a particularly ripping distortion. With simple, user-friendly controls including a preamp Gain knob, three-band EQ, and a Master Volume, the Guv’nor offers controllable British sizzle with a touch of compression.

The original battery door and bottom pad are present, along with the serialized foil label. The multi-colored knobs are original, and the graphics are clean.
