Up for sale, a Kingsley Maiden D V1 Valve Preamplifier pedal in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. A versatile, robust preamp; the Maiden recreates the clean channel of a Dumble ODS-style amplifier in a compact, pedalboard-friendly package, complete with a Tung-Sol 12AX7 tube. It’s suitable for running directly into a power amplifier, connected to the effects return of an amplifier’s effects loop, recording direct when combined with a cabinet/power amp, or as a booster/second clean sound when plugged into the front end of another guitar amp. The Maiden delivers glassy, pristine clean tones and fat, edge-of-breakup grit when cranked. The single Tung-Sol 12AX7 tube runs at high voltage for a rich and dynamic tube sound. Controls include Treble, Middle, Bass EQ along with Volume and Master knobs. Additional controls include a three-way Mode switch and push/pull Mid Boost (on the Middle knob). This pedal is in excellent shape, with scarcely a mark on the housing, clean graphics, and all original knobs.
