Designed in collaboration with the The Bros. Landreth guitarist, this flagship Jackson Audio pedal is described by the Texas-based pedal masters as “the most versatile and transparent overdrive ever made.”

Based around a bluesbreaker-style circuit, the Golden Boy is loaded with four clipping diode presets, a MOSFET boost circuit, and a 3-band Baxandall-style EQ for tonal sculpting. This pedal is certainly exceedingly transparent, maintaining natural tone with exquisite detail and loads of harmonic richness. The Golden Boy also features Jackson Audio’s innovative Gain Cycle feature, which enables the user to ramp up the pedals maximum gain across four progressively heavier gain settings for further versatility. Controls include Volume, Boost and Gain knobs, with center detent Bass, Middle and Treble EQ controls, and all of the Golden Boy’s parameters are controllable via an external MIDI footswitch.

This Golden Boy is in fantastic shape, with nary a scratch on the gold enclosure, and pristine graphics. The original box and ephemera are included.
