This faithful modern TS-808 Tube Screamer reissue features the same JRC4558D IC chip and analog circuitry as the original.Of the different chips used to voice this pedal, the JRC4558D chip is the one known to create the most recognizable and sought after TS-808 tone, with a very vocal midrange quality.
