Up for sale, a Friedman Dirty Shirley "Regular" tube amp head in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. Dave Friedman is well known for tweaking, building, and repairing amps for some of the biggest names in music, and his legendary reputation among touring musicians has gained him a loyal clientele including the likes of Eddie Van Halen, Steve Stevens, Jerry Cantrell, and more.

Hand-wired in the USA, Dave Friedman’s Dirty Shirley Regular is a 40 watt design, engineered to capture the tonal characteristics of Marshall's golden age JTM-45, offering both round cleans and thick, ripping distortion. The Dirty Shirley is fueled by a pair of 5881 (6L6GC) power tubes and includes a three-position Gain Structure switch (High-Mid-Low gain settings). Sensitive to picking dynamics and extremely versatile, the Dirty Shirley delivers vintage crunch while also cleaning up nicely by simply backing off the guitar’s volume knob. This amp is capable of producing tonal qualities well-suited to a broad range of genres simply adjusting the Gain knob, Structure switch, and Master controls.

The Dirty Shirley was designed to take pedals well and loves boosts, OD’s, phasers, flangers, tremolos, and wahs too. The ultra transparent series effects loop takes time-based effects pedals and rack units equally well. The Dirty Shirley features tongue and groove Baltic Birch cabinet construction, sleek black tolex, salt and pepper grillcloth, silver piping, and a plexi logo.
