Up for sale, a Fender Stratocaster '62 vintage reissue "partscaster" in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This guitar combines a fully-loaded “Order Made” ST62-500 body from 1989 with a circa 2006 “Crafted in Japan” ST62 neck (both Fender Japan components). This rare, early custom color Fender Japan body is finished in Ocean Turquoise Metallic, loaded with the original trio of American Vintage 57/62 pickups seen on certain upscale models.

Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, and this Strat weighs 7lbs 9oz. The trio of Fender's American Vintage 57/62 single coil pickups feature cloth-covered leads, black fiber bobbins, and staggered, unbeveled alnico magnet construction, delivering quintessential Strat sparkle and bounce, with gutsy spank at the bridge and fuller, rounder sounds at the neck. This '62 Stratocaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The clear coat on the gloss custom color Ocean Turquoise Metallic finish exhibits some yellowing, giving the finish a greener hue, and cosmetic wear includes some dings and finish chips along the lower bout perimeter and on top at the lower bout, with some additional minor marks on the body as a whole. The smooth ambered gloss on the neck profile is flawless.

A modern Fender padded gigbag is included.
