Designed in collaboration with Softube, the Runaway is a realistic feedback simulator pedal that utilizes four user-friendly controls in tandem with an incorporated expression pedal to produce feedback-like sounds at any volume. Switched to the Up position, the Full Wet toggle switch produces a completely wet signal that can be used for creating simulated backwards-recording effects, or a wet/dry blend that is dictated by the Feedback Level knob when set to Down. The Tolerance control governs the feedback’s sensitivity, responding only to stable notes on its lowest setting, and a Harmonic toggle switch allows users to choose between upper-fifth and sub-octave harmonics using preset combinations.
