Up for sale, a custom Jazzmaster featuring a Fender Road Worn neck and an MJT relic'd swamp ash body finished in Burgundy Mist lacquer. Like-new save for the faux aging on the body and neck, this Jazzmaster has been outfitted with premium components throughout, with a Mastery M1 bridge, Mastery OMV Vibrato (w/ UFO tip), JBE Two-Tone pickups, a Rothstein wiring harness, and a Warmoth mint green pickguard.
The swamp ash body ensures a complex midrange character and great note attack, qualities faithfully captured by the JBE Two-Tone pickups. These dual blade humbuckers feature standard-sized Jazzmaster bobbins, offering a vast array of tonalities from classic Jazzmaster sparkle and percussive cut to full-bodied humbucker growl via the independent push/pull single coil/humbucking mode select controls. Rather than a standard coil split or tap, the Two-Tones toggle between tonal profiles while retaining full dual-coil functionality, enabling the “single coil” sound to provide plenty of power and zero 60-cycle hum. Toggling to the Rhythm Circuit on the lower body horn results in even thicker, darker tonalities with plenty of oomph. This guitar weighs 8lbs 2oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The Burgundy Mist nitro lacquer finish and relic were executed by MJT (who also supplied the body), and the lacquer is shot nice and thin for maximal resonance. MJT's relic treatment includes lacquer checking and some small marks of simulated wear. Fender’s “Road Worn” process results in a smooth, open-grain satin finish on the profile, and there is no wear beyond the factory aging on either the body or neck.
A Fender padded gigbag is included.
