Up for sale, a unique Telecaster Thinline build, replete with premium hardware and electronics and complete with a hardshell case. This guitar pairs a limited edition Fender American Standard Telecaster neck (one of a limited run of 500 with a Ice Blue matching headstock) with an ash MJT Thinline body with a light relic treatment. Pickups comprise a Don Mare neck position Telecaster single coil and a very early four-conductor Lollar at the bridge, offering both humbucker and coil-tapped single coil tones. A Mastery M1 bridge and OMV vibrato round out the hardware, and it's a truly enviable feature set, with the hardware and pickups alone representing $900 in value.
The semi-hollow ash body has a certain midrange detail, note attack and overall richness, paired with the warmth of the 22 fret slab rosewood fretboard. The Don Mare single coil is smooth-sounding, with a punchy lower midrange cut, while the early Lollar humbucker at the bridge has just enough heat, metering at 8.1k ohms, with an ideal blend of richness and sweet treble cut. The push/pull Tone knob coil taps the humbucker for more traditional single coil spank, and the four-way selector switch enables slinky out-of-phase sounds (position 2). This Telecaster Thinline has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The original Fender Ice Blue peghead is an excellent match for the nitro lacquer MJT Ice Blue finish on the body, shot nice and thin for maximal resonance with a light relic treatment including lacquer checking and small simulated marks of wear. There's virtually no wear beyond MJT's relic, and the satin finish on the neck profile is flawless.
A black tolex hardshell case is included.
