Up for sale, an EarthQuaker Devices Plumes Small Signal Shredder overdrive pedal in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original box and ephemera. Plumes is a unique, all-analog approach to a classic tube-like overdrive circuit, offering great versatility with three different clipping voices, great headroom and an almost three-dimensional clarity designed to push any amp over the edge in all the right ways. There’s a three-way mini-toggle to switch between the three modes: Mode 1 is symmetrical clipping, utilizing a pair of LEDs, which delivers the crunchiest sounds. When played through a clean amp, it’s a reasonable facsimile of a classic, creamy British valve amp tone; if the amp is set dirty, this mode will take it all the way to grimy filth. Mode 2 is a clean boost, eliminating the soft clipping diodes altogether and only leaving the straight JFET OpAmp drive, perfect for cutting through a mix or pushing an amp into breakup territory. Mode 3 is an asymmetrical silicone diode arrangement with more output and clean clarity; it’s a transparent overdrive, offering a warmer low-end response and lower output while maintaining the integrity of your rig's natural tone. Simple, user-friendly controls include Level, Tone and Gain knobs. This pedal has barely a scratch on it. The graphics are pristine, and all of the original knobs are present. The original box is included, along with the cloth carrying bag and factory paperwork.
