Perfect for the musician who wants to practice, perform or record at lower volume levels without choking their natural tone, the Z Air Brake allows the player to limit dB levels while still retaining that perfect, dialed-in-and-cranked-up sound. The Z Air Brake was built under license agreement with Trainwreck Amplification, and features Ken Fischer’s tried-and-true attenuator design. There are five levels of attenuation, with the Bedroom (softest) stage being continuously variable at the Bedroom Level knob. The Air Brake can be used with 4, 8, and 16 ohms loads, with maximum attenuation down to 1 watt (with amps less than 100 watts). The rugged enclosure is built like a tank, and this Air Brake is in great shape, with cosmetic wear limited to a scant few small marks on the enclosure.
