Up for sale, a de Lisle Custom 1x12” tube combo amplifier in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with an ABC Isolated Amp Selector Switch pedal. de Lisle amps, attenuators, and guitars are handcrafted in Zionsville, Indiana with exceptional attention to detail and top-notch componentry, and this Custom combo is no exception. Boasting an EF86-powered preamp, this single channel amp has a bright, rich-sounding tonal profile, with exceptional treble articulation and powerful midrange that can be deftly sculpted by the EQ controls. The low end response is big and open while staying focused. This combo throws a lot of sound via the Celestion Gold speaker, and cranking it up delivers a creamy, vintage-flavored tube breakup for expressive, dynamic playing. Controls include a Volume knob; Bass, Mid, and Treble EQ controls; and a Reverb knob for the lush onboard spring reverb. Additionally, there is a small two-way Boost toggle underneath the chassis for extra kick, as well as a Negative Feedback switch. The tube complement includes a matched pair of Sovtek 6L6 power tubes, a JJ GZ34 rectifier, and a preamp section of two EHX 12AX7s, a JJ 12AW7, and an EF86. The cabinet is loaded with a Celestion G12 Alnico Gold 12” speaker, rated at 8 ohms, designed to add a touch more power and midrange warmth to the iconic Celestion Blue. The Gold is also designed to exhibit the played-in, softened trebles of a genuine vintage Blue with a broken-in cone, straight out of the box. The low end is rounded and laid-back, and the bell-like highs deliver huge rhythm voicings and saturated vocal lead tones. Cosmetic touches on the amp include blonde tolex, wheat grillcloth, and a raised de Lisle badge. This amp is in fantastic shape, with scarcely a mark on the enclosure. The original cream barrel knobs are all present, and the faceplate graphics are pristine. Also included is an early iteration of the de Lisle ABC Amp Selector Switch pedal, which enables easy multi-amp setups with three independent footswitches. A guitar can be connected to up to three amps at a time, without introducing any ground loop hum, protecting the safety grounds on your vintage amps. Each output has a unique LED color (red, white, and blue) for ease of use onstage, and each output is individually selectable, so any combination of amps can be engaged at just the press of a button. The circuit runs on an internally boosted dual rail power supply for increased headroom and clarity; there is a Direct Out, plus dual Buffered and Transformer-Isolated outputs, as well as a Phase switch to keep amps or separate channels in phase.
