The gloss lacquer finish highlights the dimensional figuring in the bookmatched back and sides, with some minor checking behind the bridge and adjacent to the endpin. Cosmetic wear is limited to light pick wear across the sound hole and a scuff on the back at the bass-side lower bout. The gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean, with a few shallow nicks along the profile length that are not distracting to the palm while fretting.
