Up for sale, a 2023 Custom-Built HH Tele-style guitar in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. With distinctive tonewoods, gold hardware and a pair of Jim Wagner humbuckers, this Tele is as sonically satisfying as it is visually dynamic.
Tonewoods comprise a nitro lacquer-finished MJT VTT ash body with a three-piece redwood/maple/redwood top and a custom torrefied maple neck with a 22 fret flame maple fingerboard, delivering an acoustic platform with dynamic immediacy and good midrange heft. The Jim Wagner Goodwood humbuckers have a PAF-style wind with an overarching richness. The wound strings are focused and punchy, the midrange has a distinct woodiness, and the trebles are smooth and singing. Harmonics are dense, and the string through body construction ensures plenty of sustain. This guitar is featherweight at 6lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Natural nitro lacquer finish is lightly sprayed, highlighting subtle figuring in the redwood on top; the finish sports a subtle “closet classic” relic with light horizontal lacquer checking across the body and a few areas of minimal synthetic aging. There is no wear of note beyond the light relic, and the satin finish on the neck profile is immaculate.
A Nash-branded gold alligator teardrop hardshell case is included.
