Up for sale, a Catalinbread Zero Point Flanger in mint condition, complete with the box. This unique flanger is designed to hearken back to the earliest days of flange, featuring a unique dual footswitch design for flange on demand: when the Flange switch is depressed, the effect sweeps upward, and when the switch is released, it sweeps back down. Essentially, the switch simulated applying pressure on the “flange” of a reel-to-reel tape machine, the way the effect was originally achieved in studios. In subtractive mode, holding down the Flange switch will eventually cause the two signals to cancel out when they’re delayed by the same amount, and out of phase. Additionally, there is an internal trimpot to dictate the overall Gain.
