An uncommon, discontinued model, the CTM-30 delivers 30 watts of classic all-tube tone in a compact head suited for studio recording and and a variety of gigging applications. The head features 4 and 8 ohm speaker outs, a dedicated balanced DI, and front-mounted effects loop. Equipped with Hi and Low inputs for active or passive basses, the CTM-30 combines traditional Bass, Mid and Treble EQ options with the additional flexibility of Mid Shift, Bass Shift and Bright Switching, unlocking a wide range of classic and contemporary all-tube tones via the smooth and powerful-sounding 30 watt EL84 power section. The tube complement includes a matched quartet of Ruby EL84s, with matching Ruby tubes in the preamp as well. The head shows virtually no wear with black tolex and white piping, an immaculate faceplate, raised Ashdown badge, and a premium leather handle.
